This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use the StorySip mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").

Account information: Email address, display name, and profile picture (provided during sign-up via Apple Sign In or email/password).
Usage data: Listening history, episode progress, favorites, content requests, and votes.
Subscription data: Subscription tier, purchase history, and subscription status (managed through Apple's in-app purchase system and RevenueCat).
Device and technical data: Device type, operating system version, and app version (used for debugging and crash reporting).

2. How We Use Your Data

To provide and improve the Service (audio playback, progress tracking, personalized content).
To process and manage your subscription via Apple IAP and RevenueCat.
To respond to support requests and communicate important service updates.
To analyze broad usage patterns and improve the product (anonymized analytics).

3. Legal Basis (GDPR)

We process your personal data based on:

Contract performance: To deliver the Service you signed up for.

Supabase (database and authentication hosting)
RevenueCat (subscription management)

We retain your account data as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
